The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.
Adrienne Howardhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06931242495013944682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4627885688965027019.post-75090659147156369862009-03-05T10:19:00.000-08:002009-03-10T10:43:56.681-07:00Did You Know? It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader. The annual conference now brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes). "

They have videotaped these conferences over the years and the speakers are amazing and include everyone from Isabel Allende to Peter Gabriel to Jane Goodall. You can even download the videos as mp3 audiofiles.

I have listened to about 10 of them and I have particularly enjoyed Jill Bolte Taylor video - she is a scientist that studies the brain and one day woke up and slowly realized she was having massive stroke.Adrienne Howardhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06931242495013944682noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4627885688965027019.post-80130402974089804592008-04-21T10:52:00.000-07:002008-04-21T10:52:22.901-07:00The Tablet PC Education Blog: Toshiba America Foundation Grants Promote U.S. Science and Math EducationThe Tablet PC Education Blog: Toshiba America Foundation Grants Promote U.S. Science and Math EducationAdrienne Howardhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06931242495013944682noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4627885688965027019.post-47759863390225427572008-04-01T13:33:00.000-07:002008-04-01T13:43:33.800-07:00IF ONLY...I saw a story on the news the other night about Bishop Hartley High School. The school gave PC Tablet laptops to all of their seniors. The school is wireless and their textbooks are already loaded on the laptop.
